Canadian Forces Licenses Citybanners™ with Support Our Troops™
For centuries, the yellow ribbon has been a symbol associated with devotion towards a loved one who is away and the desire for their safe return home. Over the years, it has been mentioned in numerous songs and it has most recently come to be associated with support for the men and women in uniform, particularly those posted aboard.
Canadian Forces Personnel and Family Support Services, the manager of the official Bilingual Support Our Troops™ Yellow Ribbon trademark, has licensed the use of the image to Citybanners™ with proceeds donated. Available as Banner Only, Banner + Supply Kit and Citybanners™ Program, communities can show their support for the dedicated members of the Canadian Forces who serve our country with distinction and commemorative banners.
Canadian Forces Personnel and Family Support Services is a not-for-profit organization created by the members of the Canadian Forces for the benefit of its current and former soldiers, sailors and airmen and women as well as for their families. It offers programs, activities and services in Canadian military communities to enhance the morale, welfare and quality of life of our men and women in uniform both at home and overseas.
Banners and Banner Kits are made from quality materials. Support Banners come finished, as standard, with brass eyed grommets, two pole pockets* and with six size options to choose from and non rust durable brackets.
The 'Support Our Troops™ Banner Kit' comes with one banner, all the required standard hardware and strapping for poles up to 7" in width (Screwdriver and ty wraps not supplied)
